ALBERT G "BUTCH" ROBINSON JR.

Albert "Butch" G. Robinson,Jr., 46 of Gonzales, a towing company manager, died 
Tuesday. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Edmonds Funeral Home chapel, 
Jonesboro with Rev. Stuart Toms and Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. Burial 
will be at Springhill Cemetery, Jonesboro. Mr. Robinson died Tuesday, November 
18, 1997 at Thibodeaux, La, after a sudden illness. Mr. Robinson was a native 
of Hodge, LA, graduated from Jonesboro-Hodge High School and received a B.A. 
degree in business from La. Tech University in Ruston, LA. He was an 8 year 
veteran of the Marine Corps. He was employed by Jackson Marine Co. as their 
General Manager. 

Survivors include two sons: Jay Robinson of Gonzales, LA, Benjamin Robinson of 
Choudrant; parents, Sybil and Glen Robinson of North Hodge; two brothers: Rod 
Thomas of Barrington, IL, Jeff Thomas of Jonesboro and one sister: Donna Avery 
of Weston. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Stewart, Al Stewart, Jimmy Gleason, 
Darrell Avery, Rod Thomas, Jeff Thomas, Russ Robinson and David Robinson. 
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until 
funeral time.
