CHARLEY JEAN ROBINSON

Charley Jean Robinson transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday May 31, 2014 
with her family by her side in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Charley was born December 14, 1941 in Eros, Louisiana to Sammie Gene Robinson 
and Dora Lee Ziegler.

Charley received her education while growing up in West Monroe and went to 
Barber School in Galveston, Texas where she received her Barbers License. 
Ultimately she would take her barber skills, her sense for phenomenal style, her 
zest for living and moved to Hammond Indiana in the 1960s where she would become 
one of Hammond's first Female Barbers.

She was proceeded in death by her Father Sammie Gene Robinson, and by her Mother 
Dora Lee Ziegler.

Charley leaves to cherish memories of her son Darrell Keith Robinson (Oakland, 
Ca.), Hattie Morehead (W. Monroe, La.), Sammie Gene (Bettye) Robinson 
(Lawerenceville, Ga.), Carroll Taylor, (W. Monroe, La.), Neamon Walton Jr. 
(Hammond, In.), Bobbie Jean Robinson-Hartsfield (Oakland, Ca.), Paul Edward 
(Angela) Roberson (Antioch, Ca.), Lee Roy (Donna) Robinson (Oakland, Ca.), 
Anthony (Ray) Ziegler (Monroe, La.), Mary Evelyn (Sam) Robinson-Hill (Newmen, 
Ca.), God-Daughter Shonica Winston (Hammond In.), Dearest Friend Cora Brown 
(Hammond In.) and a host of extended family and friends.
