JAMES STEPHEN ROBINSON, JR.
Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel , Shreveport, LA

Funeral service for James Stephen Robinson, Jr., 85, was held Tuesday, June 
30, 2009 at 3:30 PM at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating was Rev. 
Matthew Impson. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA 
Wednesday, at 11:00 AM July 1st with military honors. Visitation with the 
family was held on Tuesday following the service at the funeral home.

James was born in Hattiesburg, MS on March 19, 1924 to James S. Robinson, Sr. 
and Lola Carter Robinson. He passed away on June 28, 2009 in Shreveport. James 
was raised in Monroe, and lived in Shreveport, for the past 50 years. James 
was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Order of the Moose. He proudly 
served his country in WWII. James was a retired office machine repairman.

Preceding James in death were his devoted and beloved wife, Frances Juanita 
Laurent Robinson and his parents.

He is survived by sons, Lawrence Alton Robinson and wife, Elizabeth, James 
Emeal Robinson and wife, Carolyn; daughter, Annie Nelson; 4 grandchildren and 
3 great-grandchildren.
