CHARLES RAY ROBINSON

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Charles Ray "Hook" Robinson, 77, of West Monroe, 
LA, will be 3:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2015, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral 
Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Scott Fletcher, Rev. Mike Fletcher, and Hank 
Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. 
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the service Friday at Griffin Funeral 
Home in West Monroe.

Mr. Robinson was born February 10, 1938, in Winnsboro, LA and passed away 
peacefully on June 23, 2015, in West Monroe surrounded by his family. Hook 
traveled throughout the southern states at many rodeos as the rodeo 
photographer. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Allen 
Robinson and Ida Mae Hawthorne Robinson; son, Charles Larkin; brother, Clyde 
Robinson; and nephew, Keith Robinson.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Charlotte Robinson; five children, Kim 
Bindursky (Michael), Susan Hathorn, Lisa Lauve (Lewis), Nancy Noles, and Joy 
Robinson York (Troy), two step-children, Jessica Thomason (Adam) and J.W. 
Bridges (Maddie); 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three siblings, 
Edward Lee Robinson, Barbara Nell Polevoy (Steven), and Butch Robinson (Cathy); 
as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, in-laws, out-
laws, and other relations.

Pall bearers will be Michael Alan Bindursky, Michael Bernard Bindursky, Lewis 
Lauve, Heath Grimes, Steve Robinson, Jim Bob Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Troy York, J.W. Bridges and Mike Davis.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society .
