ROBINSON Lonnie Hubert Robinson, Jr. 73, of Start, LA, passed away early Friday morning, Apri April 14, 2017, in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born November 5, 1943 1943 in Girard, LA., he was the eldest son of the late Lonnie Hubert Robinson & Jack Jackie (Spencer) Robinson. Lonnie graduated from Start High School in 1961. Lonnie retired with 30 years of service from South Central Bell. He worked as a Ca Cable Technician out of the Monroe area. Lonnie loved spending his time with hi his family & friends. Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia (Toney); 3 children, Kim & Chris McElroy of Start, LA, Lori & Jay Sepulvado of Delhi, LA, Lonnie & Camilla Robinson, III, of West Monroe, LA; 3 grandchildren, Christopher & Sarah McElroy of Rayville, LA, Amy Goodman of West Monroe, LA, Savannah Jackson of West Monroe, LA; 1 great-grand daughter, Lillian "Lilly" Mc McElroy of Rayville, LA; his mother, Jackie Robinson of Rayville, LA; 1 br brother, Jerry Robinson of Start, LA; and many other loving nieces, nephews an and, extended relatives. Lonnie is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie H. Ro Robinson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rayville, LA at 10:00 AM with Father Adrian Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery Girard, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, April 17, 20 2017 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be: Larry Bennett, Cleo Head, David Head, Jerry He Head, Jimmy Spencer, and Steven Weaver. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Randy He Head.
