MARCUS RAYMOND ROBINSON

Funeral services for Marcus Raymond Robinson, 81, will be held 2:00 PM 
Saturday. October 23, 2010, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe. Rev Skip Dean will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mr. Robinson was 
born August 9, 1929 in Vance, MS, and passed away on October 21, 2010 in West 
Monroe. He served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Sears Department Store as 
a manager after 42 years of service. Mr. Robinson was also was a member of 
Highland Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He played the piano for 
several gospel groups during his lifetime. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death 
by his parents, Chester and Pearl Robinson and by daughter Marcia Robinson 
Hatten. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Avant Robinson; son, Scott Robinson 
and wife Janice; son-in-law, Randall Hatten; grandson, Scotty Robinson and 
wife, Ashley, granddaughter, Susan Robinson, granddaughter, Jennifer Robinson; 
grandson, Jordan Robinson, grandson, Chad Hatten; granddaughter Katie Hatten; 
and grandson, Mark Hatten; sisters, Faye Powell and Dorothy Fernandez. 
Pallbearers are Scotty Robinson, Jordan Robinson, Chad Hatten, Mark Hatten, 
Randall Hatten and Joe Avant. Visitation will b held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM 
Friday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
