With Alzheimer's disease you get prepared, you know the inevitable, but you really cannot prepare for when it actually happens. The disease takes your memory and all of your ability to communicate and that's what it had taken from our mother. "Maw Maw" was our mother, grandmother, and our best friend….we will miss her. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
