DIANE RODRIGUEZ

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Diane Rodriguez, 63, of Monroe, LA, will be 11:00 
AM Saturday, September 26, 2015, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe 
with Rev. Ben McGehee officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery 
in Grayson.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born February 19, 1952, and went to be with her Lord and 
Savior on September 20, 2015. She loved hunting, fishing, reading, but most of 
all spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cheering and 
participating at almost all of the school functions, softball and volleyball 
games, and any other activity the grandchildren might have.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her mother, Ona Lea Meredith; father, 
Pearlie J. Meredith; and sister, Pearlie C. Meredith.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Richard Rodriguez; son, Chris 
Rodriguez and wife Kiley; daughter, Teresa A. Semmes and her husband Brandon; 
three grandchildren, Svea Rodriguez, Remi Rodriguez, Mia Rodriguez; sisters and 
brothers, Dorothy Parker, J.W. Meredith, Ronnie Meredith and his wife Debra, 
Sharon Burnum, and Bobby Meredith and his wife Debbie; as well as a host of 
nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be J.J. Holyfield, James Humphry Jr, Scott Smith, Michael 
Dalton, Jeremy Thiels, and Brandon Semmes.

The family would like to extend a special thank you the staff at St. Francis 
Medical Center CCU, Dr. Keith White and Dr. John Barraza.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2015, at 
Griffin Funeral Home Monroe.
