JEWEL DEAN KEELIN ROGERS

Funeral services for Jewel Dean Keelin Rogers, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter 
Day Saints, West Monroe officiating by speaker, Jack Jameson and eulogy by Dixon 
Able. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Farmerville, LA under 
the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Jewel was born November 5, 1932 in Crowder, MS and passed away Saturday, 
June 7, 2014 in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Jewel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 
50 years and was an avid genealogist. She and her husband, Mr. J.K. Rogers owned 
Rogers Farming and J.K. Rogers Tile. Mrs. Jewel is preceded in death by her 
husband, J.K. Rogers and parents, Fredrick and Lorena Keelin.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Harper and husband, Kerry of Girard and 
Rebecca Rogers of West Monroe; sons, James Rogers and wife, Scarlett of Chatham 
and Lewis Rogers and wife, Ruth of West Monroe; grandchildren, Joseph Harper, 
Krystin Harper, Wesley Ragus, Amy Chandler, Joshua Rogers, Adam Rogers, Mason 
Rogers, and Christian Mayers; and 10-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Adam Rogers, Joshua Rogers, Joseph Harper, Wesley Ragus, and 
Mason Rogers.

Visitation is 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, June 9th at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, 
Rayville.
