Born in 1928 in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, she immigrated to New Orleans, LA and proudly became a citizen of the United States of America. Carmen graduated from Soule Business College and became a legal secretary. So well did she do her job, that she became almost indispensable at her position. Carmen was always the "hostess with the mostest" and her home was always opened for anyone who came to the city. She is survived by her three children, Carmen Rosales Falconer and husband Don, Cinta Rosales Burks and husband Michael Alan, and Dr. Joaquin Rosales Jr. and wife Cymantha; as well as 5 Grandchildren, Paul, Jason, David, Steven, Lauren and several great grandchildren. Whether known as Nanny, or Tia Carmen she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were own children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joaquin P Rosales, and her siblings. A special thanks to her special friend Shirley Diel, and her physicians, Dr. Don Hammett, Dr. Levatino and her guardian angel Dr. Greg Boyce. The family will receive guests from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home - 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, LA. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM, December 6, 2014 at Muhleisen Funeral Home in Kenner Louisiana.
