JOSEPH WELDON ROSS


Joseph Weldon Ross was born May 29, 1950 in Minden, LA and passed away 
September 12, 2016 in West Monroe. He was a fleet and commercial manager at 
Cooper Buick GMC. Weldon was an avid golfer and sportsman. He was preceded 
in death by his wife, Judy Ross; mother, Julia Elizabeth Ross and father, 
C.L. Ross and a brother, Durwood Darrell Ross.

Mr. Weldon Ross is survived by 2 children; Chris Ross and wife Kristy and 
Misty Henning and husband Scotty; 2 step-sons, Mike Moore and Mark Moore; 8 
grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Ross Murphy and 
husband Larry; two nieces and a host of friends and his extended family at 
Cooper Buick GMC and a very special friend, Kathy Burns.

A special thanks to Kathy and all the nurses at Louisiana Extended Care 
Hospital and I.C.U. and staff at Glenwood.

A visitation will be held for Weldon Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 
PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment will be 
held at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens at a later date.
