WILLIAM EARL ROUSE


Funeral services for William Earl Rouse of Rayville, LA will be held 2:00 PM, 
Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA with 
Rev. Alvin Stowe officiating. Burial will follow in McKnight Cemetery, Holly 
Ridge, LA.

William was born January 18, 1938 in Shreveport, LA and passed away Saturday, 
November 10, 2012 in Rayville, LA.

William was 74 he lived 72 years in Richland parish and 2 years in Morehouse 
parish. He was raised on a farm and worked for International Paper Co. in 
Bastrop, LA. He spent the last twelve years in the Rayville Nursing and 
Rehabilitation Center. Mr. William enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Rouse and Jessie Mae Roberts 
Rouse; sisters, Virginia Rouse Stanley and Lavern Rouse Gwin; and brother, 
Carl Wesley Rouse.

Survivors include his siblings, Leonard Rouse and wife, Kathleen, James Rouse 
and wife, Dianne, and Linda Rouse Johnson and husband, Ray; host of nieces and 
nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Bendel Clack, Danny Rouse, Terry Lee Gwin, Mitchell Greer, 
Charles Greer, Richard Freeland, Brad Crawford, and Barrett Gwin.

Visitation is 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, 
Rayville.
