BETTY FOSTER ROWLAN

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Foster Rowlan of West Monroe, La will be 2:00pm 
Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Lapine Assembly of God in West Monroe with Rev. Gene 
Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in West Monroe 
under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be 
from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the church.

Mrs. Rowlan was born November 8, 1934 in Monroe, La to the union of Kiley and 
Avie Grayson and passed from this life peacefully surrounded by her family on 
May 9, 2015 in West Monroe at the age of 80. She was a lifelong resident of 
West Monroe and was the mother and caretaker of a very large family. She split 
her time between family and General Motors, where she retired after a lengthy 
employment.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kiley and Avie Grayson; her children, 
Glen Foster and James L. "Junior" Foster; her sisters, Bernice Martin and Lola 
M. Hollis; and brother, Kailie J. Grayson.

Survivors include her children, Ruby Perot & husband Frank, Wayne Foster, Tommy 
Foster, Gloria Smith & husband Kim, Clay Foster, Marie Lawrence & husband 
Richard, Joyce Bingham & husband Randy, Cherie Lively & husband Randy, Margie 
Foster, Grady J. Foster, Ronnie Foster and a host of grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Grady Foster, Jr., Heath Foster, Marcus Foster, Mike Naron, 
Richard Lawrence and Josh Lawrence.
