HENRY E. RUNYON 

Edmonds Funeral Home Jonesboro, LA 

Henry E. Runyon passed away on June 23, 2009, at the age of 87 in Shreveport, 
LA. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10 A. M. at 
the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, LA. Interment will follow at Garden of 
Memories Cemetery in Jonesboro. Mr. Runyon was born March 15, 1922 in 
Jonesboro, LA. He was a World War II Veteran of the U. S. Navy Sea Bees and he 
was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, LA. He is 
survived by his wife of 62 years Mary V. Walsworth Runyon of Jonesboro, LA., 
two sons Johnny Runyon and wife Sharon of Tuscon, AZ.; Glen Runyon and wife 
Julie of Mandeville, LA., one sister Evelyn Smitherman of Jonesboro, LA. two 
grandchildren, Ray Runyon and Natalie Vizioli and one great granddaughter, 
Annalise Cora Runyon. Pallbearers will be Clyde Knox, Sonny Hathaway, Jerry 
Wayne Runyon, Tommy Runyon, Jimmy Hathaway, and Ross Pullin. Honorary 
Pallbearers will be deacons of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro
