HENRY R. III. RUSS

Funeral services for Mr. Henry R Russ, III of Monroe, LA will be

10:00 am Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Fairpark Baptist Church in

West Monroe, LA with Pastor Waymon Warren officiating, Bro. Ricky Nolan and
Tyler Russ Concelebrants. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm

until 8:00 pm Friday at the church. Interment to follow at Clark Springs Baptist
Church Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Russ was born January 7, 1946 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on
August 2, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 71.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Janie Russ of
West Monroe; one son, Richard Russ and wife Christy of West Monroe; two
daughters, Sandra Russ and partner, Hank Chriceol of West Monroe; Gina Russ of
West Monroe; brother, Charles Russ of West Monroe; eight grandchildren, and one
great-grandchild. As well as extended family and friends.

Mr. Russ was a member of Fairpark Baptist Church in West Monroe

and was known affectionately as the "Banana Man" at Hope Street Ministries.
Henry served in the Navy during the Vietnam War,

He enjoyed spending time with family, RV camping, Golf, and most of all

spending time with Jesus.

Pallbearers include Tyler Russ, Beaux Fox, Dennis Watson, Jamie Gilbert, Jeff
Gilbert, & Brandon Banks

Honorary Pallbearers include OFC Club & Hope Street Ministries.
