WILLIAM H. RUSSELL Kilpatrick Funeral Homes Farmerville, LA

William H. Russell was born February 12, 1923 in Thayer, MO and passed away on 
January 6, 2009 at the age of 85 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's 
disease.

He was united in marriage to Mary Russell on November 30, 1945, who precedes 
him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his Father, Clarence E. Russell; Mother, 
Edith Cora Russell and Grandson, Rusty Thomas.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Gay Thomas of Farmerville, LA; 
grandchildren: Missy Greer and husband Ben of Farmerville, LA; Rhonda Rawls 
and husband Mike of West Monroe, LA; Candy Thomas and Caleb Temple of 
Farmerville, LA; Great Grandchildren: Tiffiny and Nathan Greer, Chassidy 
Lestage, Allie Rawls, Kimber and Jamie Moon, Taylor Thomas and Cade Temple. 
Four brothers: Olen Russell of Thayer, MO; Jim Russell of Mammoth Springs, AR; 
Bill Russell of Thayer, MO; Phillip Russell of Kansas City, MO; One sister: 
Verneal Laster of Mishawaka, IN. Two great great grandchildren and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Mr. Russell resided at the NELA War Veterans Home in Monroe, LA. He was a 
retired contractor and served in both World War II and the Korean War.

A memorial service will be at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA 
Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM.
