JAMES L. RUSSELL

James L. Russell, a lifelong resident of Delhi, LA was born on August 12, 
1949 and passed from this life on November 1, 2016.

He was a member of Pentecost Tabernacle Church of Delhi.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Cooper & Era Russell and two 
sisters, Elaine Russell Weems and Thelmaline Russell Donnell.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Blaylock Russell of Delhi, LA and 
two sons, Kevin Russell & wife, Melinda of Sterlington and Josh Russell of 
Delhi; a sister, Theresa Russell Harrington & husband, Andy of Swartz; three 
grandchildren, Claire, Cooper and Carter Russell and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

James loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, fishing, hunting 
and being outdoors.

Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 
Pentecost Tabernacle Church in Delhi with Bro. Shane Lester and Bro. Melvin 
Reagan officiating.

Private interment will be held at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery south of 
Delhi under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

Pallbearers will be James Dickenson, Ronnie Garrett, Bennie Blaylock, Donnie 
Blaylock, Ernest Arnold and Jimmy Strong.

Honorary Pallbearers will be William Brewer, Phillip Parker and Bill Absher.
