THOMAS W. SALLEY SR.

FARRAR FUNERAL HOME

Farmerville, LA.

Thomas Wayne Salley, Sr. was born on April 8, 1938. He left a loving family on 
September 14, 2008 after a brief illness.

Tom leaves behind a devoted loving wife of 51 years, Nancy Patricia, his 
father, Truitt Salley; children, Tommy Salley and his wife, Robin; Nanette 
Salley and a special friend, Tadd Alford.

Tom adored his grandchildren Perri Elizabeth Fredieu and husband Nickolous, 
Erin Danielle Salley, Joshua Thomas Salley of Farmerville and the late Caleb 
Wayne Salley; sisters, Melinda Morris of Corinth, TX., Amanda McDowell of 
Farmerville and Patti Lou Wulff of Merryville, IL., All who knew him will miss 
him greatly.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ezell Miers and brother, Billie Truitt 
Salley.

As a young man, Tom attended Byrd High School in Shreveport and Kemper 
Military School in Missouri. He pursued his Business Administration degree at 
Louisiana Tech. Tom loved this nation and served proudly for four years in the 
United States Navy. He was an avid Democrat and loved to discuss politics with 
his family and friends.

Tom, a businessman, owned and operated many businesses in Farmerville and the 
Union Parish area. He owned and operated Tom's Rentals and Sales from May 1996 
until his retirement in April of 2007.

A memorial service will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Farrar 
Funeral Home.

The Salley family requests any gifts or flowers be made as a memorial to the 
America Cancer Society.
