Michael Stravato officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Salter died April 25, 2017, in West Monroe, Louisiana. Jean was a member of Family Church in West Monroe. She received her Bachelor of Ar Arts in English, and Masters Plus 30 in Counseling, from Northeast Louisiana Un University (ULM). She served the Ouachita Parish School System for many years as as a teacher at Ouachita Parish Jr. High and Ouachita Parish High School, as Gu Guidance Counselor at Sterlington High School and as the first 504 Coordinator fo for the Parish. Survivors: her daughter, Roxie Stewart and husband, Robbie; son, Bruce Robinson and wife, Donna; stepson, Chris Salter and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Blake Robinson and wife, Jessica; Annalisa Blanchard and husband, Matthew; Spencer Stewart; Bradley Robinson; Cameron Salter; and Larkin Salter; great-grandchildren, Bryce Robinson, and Brantley Robinson Pallbearers will be Blake Robinson, Bradley Robinson, Spencer Stewart, Donny Sellers, Matt Blanchard, and Chris Salter. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at grandchildren, Bryce Robinson, and Brantley Robinson Pallbearers will be Blake Robinson, Bradley Robinson, Spencer Stewart, Donny Se Sellers, Matt Blanchard, and Chris Salter. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Charles Morgan, the entire Compassus family, and the administration and staff at Azalea Estates for the ex the excellent care given and genuine compassion shown to Mrs. Salter.
