ETHAN RYAN "ER" SANDERS

Funeral services for Ethan Ryan "E R" Sanders, 17, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 19, 2008 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA. Rev. Raymond Jones will officiate. Interment to follow 
at Crowville Masonic Cemetery, Crowville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Ethan was born July 25, 1991 in Monroe, LA and passed away October 16, 2008 in 
West Monroe, LA

Ethan was diagnosed with a rare liver disease as an infant and his champion 
spirit became a part of who he was from an early age. Through the many 
surgeries, treatments, and hospital visits, Ethan always made light of his 
condition, even showed his scars off with pride. He jokingly looked forward to 
the showering of gifts, love and attention poured on him by his Mamaw Sanders 
and Mamaw Dianne with each surgery. Special thanks to Dr. Sonny Hussain.

Later as his health improved, Ethan was determined to continue his education 
and enrolled as a student at Louisiana Technical College-Delta-Ouachita 
Campus. When he wasn't studying, Ethan enjoyed listening to music, hanging out 
with his sister, best friend, and mentor, Courtney; and spending time with his 
special friend, Christin Storm and host of others. Ethan lost his life due to 
car accident and will be remembered most for his love of life and family, fun 
and unique sense of style, and ability to start and win any argument. We will 
love and miss you always, Ethan.

Survived by parents, Billy Jack (Junky) and Nikki Young Sanders; sister, 
Courtney Ann Sanders; paternal grandparents, Billy Wayne and Laura Sanders; 
maternal grandparents, Richard and Dianne Young; maternal great-grandparents, 
E.R. and Helen Cupit, Aunt Laurie McGuffee and cousins Josh and Laura 
McGuffee; Uncle Justin Young, wife Lindsay and special baby boy Jordan Allen 
Young; Aunt Emily Young Cory, husband Ryan Cory and cousin Kaylon Cory; Uncle 
Josh Young, wife Amanda and cousins Anna, Madison, Avery and many uncles, 
aunts, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers include: Richard Bowden, Ryan Cory, Robbie Davis, Jody Kelley, 
Toby Kelley, and David Walters.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials are accepted in the name of Ethan Sanders and Dianne Young at Iberia 
Bank.
