MARK SANDERS

Funeral services for Mark Sanders, 42, of Downsville, will be held at 2:00 
P.M., Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe. Dr. Johnny Sanders and Rev. Jimmy Furr will officiate. Interment will 
follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mark was born January 4, 1973 in Bastrop and passed away on April 11, 2015 in 
Shreveport. Mark, a graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe, was an 
accomplished musician and a member of Providence Baptist Church, where he 
served as the pianist. He was also well known as a florist and writer for 
various publications.

Mark is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Johnny Sanders; his brother and 
sister-in-law, John and Robin Sanders and their children, Abigail and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's 
Home, 7200 Desiard Street, Monroe, LA 71203.

Pallbearers will be James Sanders, Mike Sanders, Michael Wallace, Bradley 
McFarlin, Terry Atkins, and Don Antley.

Visitation will be Monday, April 13, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
