RONALD CHARLES SANDERS

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Charles Sanders, age 76 of Dubach, will be 
held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at New Prospect Church in 
Dubach. Officiating the service will be Rev. Wendell Sellers and Rev. Steve 
Jensen. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach under the 
direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Sanders was born February 15, 1940 to Rastus Alfred Sanders and Mida 
Perilee McCullough Sanders in Newellton, LA and died at his home on November 
20, 2016 in Dubach, LA with his wife by his side. He enjoyed reading books 
and playing with the grandkids. Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force and also 
in the U.S. Army. He drove a truck for 36 years until he retired, Mr. 
Sanders enjoyed his work, often competing truck driving rodeos. Ronald is 
preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers: Wilman Sanders, 
Malgene Sanders and Willie Sanders.

Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife of 47 years: Clarice Sanders of Dubach, 
LA; three sons: Harold "Doonie" Sellers, Jr. and wife Barbara of Dubach, LA 
, Freddy Sellers of Ft. Worth, TX and Andy Sellers of Dubach, LA; six 
grandchildren: Justin Coberly and wife Jennifer, Cody Sellers and wife 
Randi, Nathan Sellers, Ashley and husband Robert Cone, Chelsey and husband 
James Vining, Ashlie Jennings and Kristin Sellers; 11 great grandchildren; 
three sisters: Faye Jeffery, Sherry and husband Lucky Suddie, and Lanelle 
and husband Charles Carlisle; and one brother: David Sanders and wife 
Carolyn.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Charles Carlisle, Kevin Carlisle, Billy 
Sanders, Kelly Sellers, Cody Sellers and Nathan Sellers. A visitation will 
be held from 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at New 
Prospect Church in Dubach. To leave a memorial message for the family,
