Mildred Lenard officiating. Graveside service will be held at Red Wing Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA, at 1:30PM Thursday. Mrs. Sanderson was born on February 5, 1915 in Ellisville, MS and passed away on January 1, 2007 at her home in Monroe, LA. She had lots of hobbies; her main ones were fishing, hunting, cooking and working in the garden. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry "SR" and three sons, Nelson Matthew, Billy Jerell, and Elton Ray. She is survived by a half sister, Myrtle Patterson, of Oak Grove, LA and nine children: daughter, Irene Dever of Galveston, TX; son, Henry "JR" and wife Carlene of Monroe, LA; Basil Sanderson and wife Norma of Bernice, LA; Dale and wife Hilda of Calhoun, LA; daughter, Jean and husband Bob of San Marcos, TX; son Jerry and wife Flo of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Maenell Sanderson of New Caney, TX; daughter Sandra Vaillancourt of Virginia Beach, VA; and son Shelby and wife Jayne of Austin, TX; twenty-nine grandchildren; forty- nine great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ricky Sanderson, Matt Sanderson, Roger Sanderson, Neal Sanderson, Ronnie Dever, Maurice Nelson, Philip Kirtley, and Mike Price. Honorary pallbearer will be Raymond Perkins. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Mulhearn Funeral Home. Everyone who knew her will miss her. She always had a smile and always found something good in everyone she knew.
