PAUL WOODROW SANDERSON

Memorial services for Mr. Paul Woodrow Sanderson of Chatham, LA will be 
10:00am Friday, November 11, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA. Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of service Friday at 
the funeral home.

Mr. Sanderson was born February 2, 1932 in Bassfield, MS and passed from 
this life on November 5, 2016 in Chatham, LA at the age of 84. He graduated 
from Lake Providence High School in 1951 and then served his country in the 
United States Air Force during the Korean War. He attended Louisiana Tech 
University studying Civil Engineering. He is a retired inspector for the 
Louisiana State Department of Transportation. After retirement, he worked 
for Denmon Engineering.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Essie Sanderson; one 
brother, John Huey Sanderson; two sisters, Ann Lois Follett and Bernice 
Mauldin; and one grandson, Lance Corporal Jon Eric Bowman.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Sanderson of Chatham, LA; his children, 
Dianne Mann and husband Chuck and John Sanderson and wife Shelia all of 
Chatham, LA, and Susan Bowman and husband Johnny of Farmerville, LA; also 
survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great great-
grandchild and a host of extended family and friends.
