MARY GROSS SATERFIEL

Funeral services for Mary Gross Saterfiel (81), forever 21, will be held at 
2:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe. Rev. Eugene Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at 
Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

Mary was a member of McRae First Pentecostal Church of God, McRae, Arkansas 
and was retired secretary at NLU. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Earl Saterfiel; parents, John and Ethel Johnson; daughter, Amy McDaniel and 
her husband, Warren McDaniel; son-in-law, David Rhymes; brother, Johnny 
Johnson; Sister, Carolyn Sue Johnson; nephew, Billy Johnson and a son, David 
Saterfiel.

Mary is survived by her children, Sandra Holmes and husband Danny, Patricia 
Rhymes, Elizabeth Adcock and husband Donnie, Linda Long and husband Steven, 
Tina Glass and husband Danny; Anne Hardy and husband Bruce; Pat Heard and 
husband Jim; Michael Saterfiel; sister, Hazel Wilmington; brothers; Rev. 
Eugene Johnson and wife Anita and Dale Johnson and wife Donna; 15 
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren and a 
host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Danny Holmes, Jr., Danny Glass, Steve Long, Donnie 
Adcock, Justin Long, Jacob Long, Josh Bynum and Eric Holmes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rhys Glass and Danny Holmes, Sr.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
