Burial will be in Liberty Hill/Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville. Mrs. Savage was born February 3, 1929 and went to her heavenly home Oct. 4, 2016 at the age of 87. She was a lifelong native of Union Parish and a faithful, active member of Farmerville Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School. During her lifetime she worked at Turnage's in Farmerville, the Vogue, Hollis' Jewelry, and People's Dept. Store. She loved her family and was a loving, caring Mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents: Orion B. & Susie Lee; her first husband, of 25 years, Jesse A. Neal, Jr. Fourteen years later, she married Rupert Savage who also preceded her in death after 25 years. She is also preceded in death by 4 sisters: infants, Mae & Fae Lee, Vivian Wells and Mary Scarpino; and 5 brothers: Raymond Jack Lee, George Lee, Orion B. Lee, Jr., Mack Lee and Rae Lee. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Judy Beth White (Larry) and son, Kenneth Lee Neal (Vickie); 5 grandchildren: Jana Ritzel (Bill), Susan Wood (Matt), Valerie Asbell (Andy), Velissa Rollins (Shane), and Vanna Hood (Seth); 12 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Austin (Alton); brothers: Paul Lee, and Lester Lee (Ann); numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Pallbearers will be Blaine Rollins, Shane Rollins, Andy Asbell, Seth Hood, Matt Wood, Bill Ritzel and Nolen Ritzel. Visitation is 5-8pm Friday, Oct. 7 at Farrar Funeral Home.
