IRIS BRANTLEY SAVELL

Funeral services for Mrs. Iris Brantley Savell, 61, of West Monroe, LA will 
be held 10:00 AM Wednesday October 15, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Pastor Shane Warren officiating. 
Interment will be at Dean Cemetery near Haile, LA

Mrs. Savell was born March 29, 1953 and passed away October 11, 2014 at 
Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a short battle with cancer.

Iris traveled extensively with pipeline work until opening her own business, 
Choices Boutique, where she never met a stranger. She was a proud sponsor of 
the Miss Louisiana pageant and was active in Miss America pageants and other 
pageant events. As an active member of the First Assembly of God Church, she 
loved to talk about Jesus and would stop and pray for anyone in need. She 
was a lover of all animals and would feed any stray that came looking for a 
meal. She had two special little ones that were her heart, Tiki and 
Precious, her fourteen year old Yorkie. She will be greatly missed by her 
family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Ann Brantley and brother, 
Junior Morris Brantley.

Survivors: husband, Charles Savell; Father, Tommie Lee Brantley and wife, 
Rita; son, Christopher Harrell and wife, Wendy; Sister, Wanda Simmons; Step-
brother, Joel Lake; Uncle, Huston Rhodes and wife, Betty; Grandchildren, 
Brittany Harrell, Natalie Harrell, Shelby Simpson, Reagan Baird, Brad 
Guinther and wife, Ashton, Kyle Guinther and wife, Jenny; Great 
Grandchildren, Kason Simpson, Bryson Guinther; and numerous nieces, nephews, 
and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Brad Guinther, James Oliver, Shannon Rhodes, Monte 
Rhodes, Virgil Brantley and Lee Brantley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Thad 
and Chad Simmons.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM. Until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home in West Monroe, LA
