MRS. ELDA MERLE STAKER SAWYER

Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Elda Merle Staker Sawyer, 73, of Rocky Branch, LA 
will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2006 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in 
Rocky Branch, LA. Rev. Mickey Bounds will be officiating. Interment will 
follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Sawyer was born September 7, 1932 in Ogden, UT and passed away February 
3, 2006 in Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Sawyer was preceded in death by her parents William and Merle Staker.
Mrs. Sawyer is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Ramsey L. Sawyer; 
son, Vance Sawyer; daughter, Cynthia Sawyer Wanner and husband Bryan all of 
Rocky Branch; grandsons, Lance Langley of West Monroe, Jonathan Cascio, and 
Dustin Wanner both of Rocky Branch; granddaughters, Crista Langley Tisdale and 
husband Ken of West Monroe and Becky Sawyer of Portland, OR; great 
grandchildren, Bryce Langley and Serenity Tisdale both of West Monroe and 
brothers, Bill and Hal Staker of Utah.
Pallbearers will be Leroy Adair, PeeWee Spillers, Charles Sawyer, Edward 
Sawyer, Coon Jackson, and Glen Langley.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist 
Church in Rocky Branch, LA.
