TERESA HEAD SCHANKS

Funeral services for Mrs. Teresa Head Schanks of West Monroe, LA will be 
10:00am Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West 
Monroe with Pastor Tommy Boles officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity 
Gardens in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West 
Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 
the funeral home.

Mrs. Schanks was born October 28, 1963 in West Monroe, LA and passed from this 
life on March 7, 2016 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 52.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles DeWitt Head, Sr. and her 
daughter, Glenna Colvin.

Survivors include her children, James Head, Thomas Head, Jason Schanks, Justin 
Schanks and Michelle Colvin all of West Monroe; her mother, Esther Gall of Ft. 
Worth, TX; three grandchildren, James Head, Ishah Head and Jacob Schanks; 
sister, Pat Hardwick of West Monroe; brother, Charles DeWitt Head, Jr. and wife 
Nancy of West Monroe; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and 
friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Vestal, Daniel Dean, Nathan Dean, Chad Head, Mark 
Mitchell and Jimmy Boles.
