Memorial Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA

A Graveside service for Jesse J. Scott Jr., 87, of Crowville, LA will be held 
at Harris Cemetery on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Paul 
Stephens officiating under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral 
Home in Winnsboro.

Mr. Scott was born February 12, 1922 in Crowville, LA and passed away Saturday 
March 21, 2009 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He was a Draftsman, a 
Bee Keeper for Scott Bee Co. and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He served as 
Secretary/ Treasurer of the Lone Pine Baptist Church for 20 years. He enjoyed 
playing Tennis into his eighties. He Served in the U.S. Navy as a Lt. and 
Gunman of a B-24 Bomber.

He was preceded in Death by: Father Jesse Jabe Scott ,Mother-Clara (Hosea) 
Scott, 2 brothers George Author Scott and Adrian Scott

Survivors include: Wife-Elouise (Caldwell) Scott of Winnsboro, LA; Daughter-
Dale (Scott) Glasscock and husband Ray of West Monroe, LA; Sister Edythe 
Russell and wife Julian of Winnsboro, LA; Sister in law Margerie Dozier of 
West Monroe, LA; 2 grandsonsJody Glasscock of West Monroe, LA and Jeff 
Glasscock of Crowville, LA; 2 Great grand children-Sarah and Jacob Glasscock.

The family will receive friends at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home 
from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM Sunday, March 22, 2009.
