MARILYN BEDGOOD SCOTT

Memorial services for Marilyn Bedgood Scott, 65, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church West Monroe with 
Rev. Michael Wood officiating. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Marilyn was born June 4, 1950 in Monroe, LA and passed away June 18, 2015 in 
West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Eugene Scott. She 
was past president of St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary, and Girl Scouts 
Silver Waters Council, member of the St. Francis Foundation Board, lifetime 
member of the George Welch Elementary PTA, West Monroe High School Band 
Boosters, Junior League of Monroe and member of First Baptist Church of West 
Monroe.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Benson Scott; son, Luke Scott and wife 
Rachel, daughter, Ashley Hodge and husband Jay; grandchildren, Hannah Scott and 
Elizabeth Hodge; parents, Charlie and Annette Bedgood; mother-in-law, Dorothy 
Scott; brother, Mark Bedgood and wife Tracey; nephews, Charlie Bedgood and wife 
Cynthia, and Scott Bedgood and wife Sami; brother-in-law, L. King Scott and 
wife Kari.
