M.E. passed away on Wednesday, February 17th, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, with the love and support of her son Dale and her daughters, Debbie and Donna. Born in Monroe on April 20, 1929, M.E. lived in various places around the world and was able to travel to so many others. She spent the last season of her life in Lafayette, in the company of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Johnson and by her husband, Stewart M. Scott Jr. She is survived by her three children, son Calvin Dale Smith residing in Ontario, Canada; daughters, Debbie Frame residing in Lafayette with her husband David, Donna Bulliard residing in Broussard with her husband Marcel; her stepson, Don Scott residing in Monroe; stepdaughter, Kay Scott of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sara Renee Smith, Philip Caronia III, Calvin David Frame, Chris Bulliard, Jeffrey Bulliard, Randall Bulliard, Alexis DeJean, Caroline Scott, Holly Scott, and Stewart Scott; seven great grandchildren; her nieces, Brenda Broussard and Cheryl Smith; and her first cousin, Donald Wallace. The Memorial Service on Friday will be conducted by the Pastor of Trinity Bible Church, Dennis Malcolm. The service will be preceded by a time of visitation from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend to share their remembrances of M.E. and to celebrate her life and to give thanks for her faith. Interment will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, 7200 Desiard Street, Monroe, LA 70203.
