Doug and Pam Lebrun officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, at the Funeral Home. Clayton was born on March 4, 1942, and went to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2016. He was the youngest of the three children of Francis and Mamie Scott. Mr. Scott graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1960. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and worked at the paper mill after returning home. After many years, he retired from Scott Truck and Tractor. He volunteered in the Bus Ministry of the First Assembly, as well as served as a Sunday school teacher. Clayton read his Bible every day and understood every word. He could talk for hours about Peter, James, John and Abraham. He was full of wisdom and generosity. Clayton was always having a good day and could make you laugh even when you didn't think you could. He brightened the world for the rest of us. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Mamie Scott and grandparents, Walter and Eva Glover. Survivors include his wife, Myra Pesk Scott; sisters, Dolores Scott Weems, Penny Scott Finley; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his devoted niece, Cheryl Whitton. Pallbearers: Jerry Wayne Finley; Dennie Whitton; Cory Whitton; Gerald Weems; Mark Godwin and Jaurab Paudel. Honorary Pallbearers: Joshua Whitton, Christian Pickron and Art Finley. Visitation will be 12:00 PM noon until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. I will live with my Savior eternally. I will live in the light of the Great I Am.
