SEAB Funeral Services for Larry Wayne "Bubba" Seab, Jr. 57, of Pearl, MS will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Nathan Neufang and Phil Hatfield. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 80 under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA. Bubba was born in Monroe, LA on June 6, 1959 and passed away on June 25, 2016 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He graduated from West Monroe High School in 1977 and attended truck driving school. He loved his work as an independent trucker hauling cattle and was very passionate about it. Survivors include his wife, Linda Tauscher Seab of Pearl, MS; daughter, Jessica Seab Haynes (Daniel); grandsons, Tucker and Tristen Huddleston of West Monroe, LA; parents, Larry W. Seab, Sr. (Dotti) and Ann Humphries Seab Graham; brothers, Scott Seab (Laurie) and Todd Groves (Melanie); sister, LeSha Graham Terrell (Dave); cousins, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He is also survived by former spouse, Deborah Garner Seab, the mother of his children. He is preceded in death by his son, Larry W. Seab, III "Trey", who died at the age of 18 from an automobile accident, and his grandparents, T. W. Humphries and Ethel Humphries. Bubba will be remembered for his sense of humor and dry wit, his love for trucking, custom knives, and Harley Davidson motorcycles, his compassion for animals, and helping others. A soft-spoken introvert with a brilliant mind, incredible powers of recollection, and voracious appetite for reading. Bubba was an independent thinker who felt empathy for the underdog, the outcast. He embraced the music of singers like Johnny Cash and Metallica who sang about the pain of losing a loved one, and others like the Beatles, especially John Lennon, who expressed a need for peace and acceptance. The family expresses special thanks to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland, MS. Pallbearers will be: James Grant, Steve Otwell, Garrett Cannon, Kent Sibley, Phil Hatfield, and David Fussell. Visitation will be at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, LA 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM preceding the funeral services on Wednesday.
