Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Jeanne was born on September 6, 1954 in Monroe, LA and passed away on March 12, 2015 in Monroe, LA after a courageous battle with ALS. She went to Our Lady of Fatima and St. Frederick High School before enrolling at NLU where she received her BS in Nursing. After receiving her degree, she was interviewed by Sister Liguori at St. Francis Hospital. Jeanne always said she was chosen for the job because Sister thought she would stay. Well Jeanne did stay, for 38 years, where she worked on the Post-Op surgery floor for almost her entire career. She loved St. Francis Hospital. Many of you reading this were probably the recipients of her great nursing care. Jeanne liked the outdoors. She was an avid camper and in her earlier days loved to ride motorcycles when she wasn't water skiing or fishing. Jeanne never could sit still. When she was home she was working in the yard or crocheting. She is survived by Nancy Sloan; her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Seidenspinner; 3 siblings, Terri S. Fassett and husband, Brian, Wayne Seidenspinner and wife, Denise, and Betty S. Allbritton and husband, Bill; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Gay, Lauren Jones, Benjamin Allbritton, Jacob Allbritton, and Jonathan Allbritton; great nieces and nephews, Amber, Chase, Bella, Lily and Jaxon. She is also survived by Nancy's family, Kathryn Terrell, Jane Sloan, Ashley Terrell and Bruce Saintsing, Ben Terrell and wife, Wendy, Oliver Saintsing, Kaki Terrell, and Mattie Terrell; and her babies, Sugarbear, Cheeky, Rusty, Mikey, and Pippin. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Allbritton, Jacob Allbritton, Lauren Jones, Bruce Saintsing, Matt Amann, and Logan Cain. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association P.O.
