STEVE BOB SHARP
Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, LA

Steve Bob Sharp, Sr., age 67, of Dodson, LA, passed away Thursday, May 21, 
2009, in Winnfield.

Mr. Sharp was a local business owner and was involved in the timber industry 
most of his life. He was a graduate of Northwestern State University in 
Natchitoches.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elza and Jack Broomfield and one son 
Steve Bob Sharp, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Sharp of Dodson; his daughter Cindy Murray of 
Monroe; special son: Kasey Conley of Dodson; and a half sister: Peggy Sue Sharp 
of Fouke, AR.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2009 in the Southern 
Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with Bro. Mike Kellett officiating. Interment 
will follow in the Transport Cemetery near Dodson.

Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM 
until 8:00 PM and on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until time of services.

Pallbearers will be Mike Walker, Thomas Horne, Tracey Horne, Michael 
Broomfield, Richie Broomfield, and West Vaughan.

Bobby Yelverton and Bruce Roberts will serve as honorary pallbearers.
