Jimmy Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Cedar Cemetery, Winnsboro under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the church. Ms. Sharp was born April 25, 1949, in Monroe to the union of W. D. and Victoria Fussell Grant and passed from this life on October 17, 2014 in Winnsboro. Ms. Sharp was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Winnsboro. She was a member of the Princess Theater and was inducted into the North East Louisiana Gospel Hall of Fame and also ministered through the gospel group The Singing Grants for many years. She also enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren, and friends. She loved ministering to people through song. Preceding Ms. Sharp in death were her parents and sister Amy "Pie" McDaniel. Survivors include husband Ray Sharp of Winnsboro; four sons: Gerald Reeves and wife Jennie of Maurice; Rodney Reeves and wife Michelle of Hamburg, AR; Jason Sharp and wife Leighann of Beekman; Mathew Sharp and wife Alexandra of Crossett, AR; three step children: Terry, Marla and Scott Sharp; six sisters: Betty Sue Slaughter, Lela Cupit, Florine Grant, Millie Grant, Charlotte Lawson, Wanda Matlock; three brothers: Daniel Grant, Shelby Grant, Jerry Grant; special niece Cindy Wilkinson; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Gerald Reeves, Rodney Reeves, Jason Sharp, Mathew Sharp, Garrett Wayne Reeves, and Wyatt Lee Reeves.
