Tommy Basco and Rev. Mickey Gallup officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Monday, April 17, 2017, at the fu funeral home. Mrs. Sharp was born June 4, 1934, in Mora to the union of Eddie Bolton and Reancy Reancy E. Martin Bolton; she passed from this life on April 15, 2017, at her resi residence surrounded by her loving family after battling lymphoma. We take comf comfort in knowing that she is now in heaven rejoicing with family and friends gone gone on before her. Mrs. Sharp was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for over 50 years where she se served as secretary for many of those years; she also served over 50 years as se secretary and bookkeeper of the family business, Sharp Brothers Tractor. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 57 years Charles W. Sharp; five sisters: Helen Dean, Thelma Afeman, Bessie Bolton, Essie Mitchum and Nera Ma Mae White. Survivors include her three children: Sheila and husband Mike Arnold of Calhoun; Terry Sharp and wife Orene, and Patsy Carter and husband Donnie all of Winnsboro; four grandchildren: Matt Freeman, Jonathan Sharp and wife Hannah, Jennifer White and husband Eric, and Chad Carter and wife Carla; eight grandchildren: Hannah Freeman; Isaac, Liam and Snow Sharp; Julianna and Sawyer White; Ava Claire and Arden Grace Carter; four sisters: Evelyn Faye Cranford, Jean Ray, Sue Vercher and Tena Kern; one brother Howard Bolton; brother-in-law, Dr. Joe Sharp; sister-in-law, Yvonne Martin; a host of nieces, nephews and ot other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Matthew Freeman, Jonathan Sharp, Chad Carter, Daren Herrington, Todd Guimbellot, David Guimbellot and Roland Campbell, Jr. Donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, or Home, or the Gideon's International.
