MARTY ROBIN SHIERS

Graveside services for Marty Robin Shiers, 49, of Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 
PM, Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA with Bro. Travis 
Arrant officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Marty was born July 23, 1964 in and passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in West 
Monroe, LA.

Marty is preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Shiers and Audrey Shiers 
McGlothlin.

Marty was a member of the Archibald Church of Christ and graduated from Mangham 
High School. He was employed for 32 years at Ouachita Fertilizer in Monroe. 
Marty loved his family and especially his grandchild, Jace Shiers. He enjoyed 
hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Sherice Shiers of Monroe; children, 
Martaneil Shiers of Plano, TX, Marsenio Shiers of Monroe, and Marty M. Shiers 
and wife, Cody of Lafayette; grandchild, Jace Shiers; sisters, Onngaleah Huff of 
Rayville, Portia Clay of Rayville, Sherry Hancock of Tyler, TX, and Jodi Wright 
of Rayville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Immanuel Martin, Marsenio Shiers, Marty M. Shiers, Phil Hancock, 
and Mike Venerable.
