JOYCE RUSHING SHIRLEY

Funeral services for Joyce Rushing Shirley 69 of Winnsboro will be held at 2:00 
P.M. Monday, June 24, 2013, in the Chapel of Young's Community Memorial Funeral 
Home in Winnsboro with Rev. Paul Perry officiating. Interment will be in Coax 
Cemetery, Winnsboro, under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral 
Home.

Mrs. Shirley passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Franklin Medical Center in 
Winnsboro.

Joyce loved her family, her grandkids and gardening and will be remembered as a 
generous, caring person who loved to talk with people and never met a stranger.

Survivors include her husband, Hollis Shirley of Winnsboro; 4 sons: Ricky 
McKenzie and wife Ludie, Rusty McKenzie and wife Marla, Mitchel Shirley and 
wife Lori, and Gary (Shorty) Shirley; and a daughter, Cristi Shirley-all of 
Winnsboro; 2 sisters: Elaine Dumas of Mangham and Donna Martin and husband 
Wayne of Winnsboro; 3 brothers: Douglas Rushing and wife Shirley, Robert 
Rushing and wife Jerri Lane, and Roy Rushing and wife Tammy, all of Winnsboro; 
17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be; Jeff Killian, Mike Walker, Brian Mitchell, Bubba Bozeman, 
Blake Rushing, and Clint Shirley.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Ruby Ulmer Rushing, 2 
brothers, and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday, June 23, 2013, at the 
Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA.
