West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Michael Shows, 34, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, 
Saturday, October 17, 2009 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA. Rev. Jim Ragsdale will officiate. Interment will follow at 
Roselawn Memorial Gardens Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Michael was born November 21, 1974 in West Monroe and passed away October 14, 
2009 in Monroe, LA. He was employed at Landmark Nursing Home as an LPN and was 
a member of New Destiny Assembly of God Church. Michael was very active with 
youth ministry and will be remembered as having a very outgoing personality 
and love to joke and "pick" and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his son, Austin Michael Charles Shows and father, 
Joe M. Shows, grandfather, C. E. Bendily and his grandmother, Eula Shows.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Cumpton Shows, daughter, Alexis Shows, 
mother, Wanda Shows Freeman, sister, Tanya Shows Hay and husband Jeremy, 
grandmother, Dolly Bendily, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathryn and Roy 
Cumpton, sister-in-law, Michelle Johnson; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Jordan 
and Madelyn Hay.

Pallbearers will be Joe Hooter, Jeremy Hay, Chris Shows, Brian Bendily, Jason 
Shows, R.J. Lux, Carl Benefield and Michael Hutson.

Special thanks to all the medical doctors and staff for their care and 
compassion to him and our family during his illness.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Community Trust Bank in memory of 
Michael.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
