BILLY SHUMATE

A Graveside Service for Billy R. Shumate will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, 
November 27, 2016 at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens, West Monroe under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 
12:30 until 1:30 before the service on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Billy was a veteran of the United States Army and a service manager at Scott 
Truck and Tractor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Nerine 
Shumate; brother, Larry E. Shumate; son, David Doyle Shumate.

Billy is leaving behind a daughter, Billie Jean Grubbs and husband Jimmy; 
sister, Luphelia Baker; brother, Ronnie G. Shumate; five grandchildren and 
six great grandchildren.
