LENA FAYE SIMMONS

Funeral services for Lena Faye Simmons, 78, of West Monroe, will be held at 1:00 
PM Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Victory Baptist Church, with Rev. Everett Geis 
officiating. Interment will follow at Crowville Masonic Cemetery, under the 
direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Simmons died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. 
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, Maloy and Maggie Busby Beall; 
son, Charles "Chuck" Simmons; and sister, Willie B. Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, Charles "Sonny" Simmons of West Monroe; niece, 
Donna Williams of Monroe; nephew, Steve Brumfield and wife Kathy of Monroe; 
nephew, Mike Brumfield and wife Jane of Boise, ID; sister-in-law, Patricia Ann 
Dean of Allen, TX; nephew, Jay Dean and wife Tamara of Kilgore, TX; and nephew, 
Jeff Dean and wife Holley of Sunset, TX.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Victory Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers 
will be Perry Eppinette, Leroy McDaniels, Jackie McClain, and Don Morehouse.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM Noon until service time Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
