BERNARD SIMON

Funeral services for Bernard Simon, 65, a farm chemical sales rep of 
Winnsboro, LA will be 2:00 PM, Sunday November 11, 2012 in the chapel of Gill 
First National Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Basco, Rev. Carol Simon and Rev. 
Herbie Hitt officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, 
Winnsboro, LA. Visitation will be 5:00 until 9:00 PM, Saturday November 10, 
2012 at the funeral home.

Mr. Simon was born April 20, 1947 in Winnsboro, LA to his parents Marion 
Monroe and Lessie Ellerman Simon and passed from this life on November 8, 2012 
at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Jerry Simon and son Bernard 
Simon, Jr.

Survivors included his wife Vickie Simon of Winnsboro, LA; daughter Leslie Cox 
and husband Aaron of Three Rivers, TX; grandson Hunter Futch of West Monroe, 
LA; step children; Anita Easterling of Winnsboro, LA; Justin Gallagher of Fort 
Necessity, LA; step grandchildren Ryan Eckard, Dylan Eckard and Megan 
Gallagher; sisters Gussie Haye of Winnsboro, LA; Dena LaBorde and husband 
Bobby of Winnsboro, LA; brother Lewis Simon of Winnsboro, LA; nephews Rev. 
Greg Simon, Rev. Barry Simon, Doug Haye, Brandon LaBorde, niece Kim Henderson, 
and a host of brothers and sisters in law and numerous close friends and other 
relatives.

Pallbearers will be Johnathan Campbell, Ricky Campbell, Jr., Johnny Ray Crum, 
Glen Gallagher, David Gilmore, Tommy Haye, James Moore and Terry Sharp.

Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Cox, Gerald Gilmore, David Hatten, Brandon 
LaBorde and Jerry McCain.
