MARY BELLE DUNCAN SIMONEAUX 

Riser Funeral Home Columbia, LA

Services for Mary Belle Duncan Simoneaux, age 76 of Dry Prong will be held 
10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in 
Columbia with Rev. Richard DeBusk officiating. Interment will follow in the 
Hebert Cemetery. Mrs. Simoneaux was born on October 7, 1931 in Hebert to the 
union of Charlie and Helen Garner Duncan and died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 
her residence in Dry Prong. She was a cook and a caregiver. She was preceded 
in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, and a nephew. Survivors include 
her children: Dale and Margaret Stapleton of Dry Prong, David Stapleton of Dry 
Prong, Margaret and George Reynolds of Clay, KY, Helen Stapleton of Eugene, 
OR, Donna and Christopher Chauvin of French Settlement, LA, Barbara Stapleton 
of Gonzales, Beth Blackely and Richard of Lake Charles and Daniel Lindsey and 
Shanie Major of French Settlement, LA, her sister: Edna Cupples of Denham 
Springs, a special friend: Gina Zuatrevingt of Brusley, LA, thirteen 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 
PM until 8:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 HWY 165, Columbia.
