Funeral services for Aubrey Sims, 68, of Calhoun, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, 
Thursday, February 12, 2009 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA. Rev. Bobby Porter will officiate. Interment to follow at Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 
West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Sims was born February 1, 1941 in West Carroll Parish, LA and passed away 
February 8, 2009 in Calhoun, LA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie 
Laverne Sims, father, Alfred Joe "A.J." Sims, daughters; Renee Meche, Brandy 
Sims, son, Steven Sims, and a sister, Sharon Davenport.

Mr. Sims is survived by his mother, Maxine Sims, brothers, David Sims, Steve 
Sims, Johnny Sims; grandson; John David Trahan and 1 great-grandchild; 
numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Brett Sims, David Wayne Sims, Wayne Farmer, Darren Sims 
and John Derek Sims and Jeb Slade.

Honorary pallbearer will be Derek Deblieux.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA.
