CHARLES GLEN SIMS

Funeral services for Charles Glen "Red" Sims of West Monroe will be held at 
10:00 AM, Friday, September 16, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe. Rev. Werner Aswell will officiate. Interment will follow 
at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Sims was born August 14, 1936 in Choudrant, Louisiana and passed away 
September 13, 2016 in West Monroe. He is retired from Foremost Dairy as an 
Independent Distributor. Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his parents; 
Henry Hall Sims and Letha Viola Boyd Sims; brothers, Winford Sims, Ottis 
Otha "Bo" Sims and Jody "Spear" Sims. Mr. Sims was a member of New Chapel 
Hill Baptist Church and the Northeast Louisiana Street Rod Association.

Mr. Sims is survived by his wife of 59 years; Yvonne Alexander Sims; 
daughters; Sandra Sims Jones and husband David, Lana Sims Crain and husband 
Adam; granddaughters; Brittany Jones Killins and husband Brent, Kamryn Elise 
Crain; grandsons; Ryan Alexander Jones, Charles Keegan Crain, Addison 
Sherwood Crain; brothers, Waymon Hall Sims and wife Dorothy and Dannie Ray 
Sims and wife Candy; sister-in-law, Denise Moore; numerous nieces and 
nephews.

A special thanks to the Staff at Savannah Cottage, Louisiana Hospice and 
Palliative Care of Monroe for all their loving care.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 
PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
