SIMS Funeral Services for Rev. Jimmie P. Sims will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Abundant Life Church in West Monroe, LA. Rev. Raymond Suttles will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, under the dire direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. unti until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monr Monroe. Rev. Sims was born July 28, 1928 in Delhi, LA and went home to his heavenly Fa Father on April 21, 2017. He was a pastor of Abundant Life Church for over fi fifty years, retired from Manville as a Supervisor of Plant 47, and was an avid hu hunter. He is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Sims. Rev. Sims is survived by his four children, Jimmy Dale Sims, Judy Dycus, Janice Chasas Chasas and husband Peter, and Becky Sisson and husband Richard Glenn, Sr.; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Greg Ates, Jason Dycus, Jules Reimonenq, Burt Crumley, Bob Howze,II Howze,II, and Bob Howze III.
