KAY "CAT" VIRGINIA SKAINS

Kay "Cat" Virginia Skains, a 72 year old Homemaker of West Monroe, passed away 
on April 25, 2011 at her residence.

She was born on December 14, 1938 in Bastrop LA. She was a caring woman, was a 
friend to everyone.

Visitation for Ms. Skains will be Wednesday, April 27 at Griffin Funeral home 
in West Monroe from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Graveside services for Ms. Skains will be Thursday, April 28 at Kilpatrick's 
Serenity Gardens in West Monroe at 10:00 a.m.

Ms Skains is preceded in death by her son Ronnie Russ and Two sisters; Sis 
Murphree and Edna Rodgers.

She is survived by Four Sons; Jimmy Don and Mike Harmon of West Monroe, Arlis 
Russ of West Monroe and Thomas Russ of Start. One Daughter; Kathy Ramsey of 
West Monroe, Brother; Earl "Buddy" Sherrill of Winnie, TX and Sister; Myrl 
Blakeney of West Monroe. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great-
grandchildren.
