ALLEN MONROE JR. SMALLING

Funeral Services for Allen Monroe Smalling, Jr., 69, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 29, 2013 at Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West 
Monroe, LA with Dr. Greg Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the 
Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Smalling was born on December 16, 1943 in Wallace Ridge, LA and passed away 
at his residence on July 26, 2013. He loved the outdoors, fishing and bird 
hunting. Mr. Smalling loved being with his family. He is preceded in death by 
his father, Allen Monroe Smalling, Sr. and by his step son, Jamie Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Chapman Smalling; children, Teresine Tarver 
and husband, Doug; Veronica Dickey and husband, Ken; Michael Parker and wife, 
Lisa; Kym Payne and husband, Alisha; Michael Smalling and wife, Tina; and 
Amanda Eudy and husband, Jeremy; grandchildren, Amy Sliger and husband, Chad; 
Katie Tarver, Lennon Sliger, Emalie Dickey, Kevin and wife, Kathryn, Brandon, 
Tyler and Alyssa Parker, Zachery and Sam Parker, Kaitlyn, Caden and Hunter 
Smalling, Cathrine Smalling, and Cassidy and Emma Eudy; mother, Edith Mize 
Smalling; brothers, Virgle Smalling and wife; Donna, C.P. Smalling and wife, 
Renee; Eddie Ray Smalling and wife, Kim; Buford Smalling and wife, Rhonda; 
Michael Smalling and wife, Beth; Jerry Smalling and wife, Derinda; and Paul 
Smalling; sisters, Laura Richards and husband, Phillip; Mary Mullins and 
husband, Jay; and Inez Mason and husband, George; along with numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Mr. Smalling's brothers will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Cedar Crest Baptist 
Church in West Monroe, LA on Sunday, July 28, 2013.

Memorials may be made to the building fund at Cedar Crest Baptist Church.
